CR100EX-ABZ2 Fixed ATEX RFID Reader
EPIC is proud to announce the release of a new explosive atmosphere protected fixed ATEX RFID reader. The CR100EX-ABZ2 is a zone 2 ATEX certified stainless steel IP66 enclosure, which features a dual head A/B redundant design. It uses either 13.56MHz MiFare or 125KHz HiTAG2 RFID and is serial RS485 controlled to allow for long cable runs, so it is ideal for emergency mustering at lifeboats and gangway control between platforms or wind turbines.

Ex II 3 G D Ex nR IIC T6 Gc
Ex tc IIIC T85°C Dc (-20°C ≤Tamb≤ 40°C)
