Modern Slavery Policy

Exploration & Production Information Company Limited (EPIC) is committed to preventing acts of modern day slavery within its own business and that from within its supply chain.  EPIC acknowledges its responsibility to the Modern Slavery Act 2015. EPIC will ensure transparency within the organisation and by monitoring suppliers and partners of the organisation.

EPIC are a specialist provider of electronic safety systems to the oil & gas and marine industry. We are based in the UK and our operations are undertaken in a number of countries around the world.  We have a number of key suppliers in our supply chain and these are regularly monitored through our QMS.

As part of our due diligence processes into slavery and human trafficking, our supplier approval process incorporates a review of the controls undertaken by our suppliers.  Imported parts of equipment from sources outside of the UK and EU are potentially more at risk for slavery/ human trafficking issues. The level of management control required for these sources will be continually monitored.

The company will not support or deal with any business knowingly involved in slavery or human trafficking.

The company directors take responsibility for implementing this policy statement and its objectives and shall provide adequate resources and investment to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within the organisation or within its supply chain.
