The EPIC System Tray gets a face lift
Our TCP to serial controller for our Intrinsically Safe fixed RFID Mercury and CR510Ex readers for use within hazardous areas has just received a face lift. The “System Tray” is now in its 5th generation of evolution and features improved traffic light override push buttons, updated cable connection sockets on the rear and an improved ‘adaptor loom’ for the termination of the field cables.
The enclosure still contains the same galvanic barriers for the protection of the I.S. circuits plus high quality power delivery and TCP to RS485 convertors. Control of two POB traffic lights is still available on both versions of the device, but you can order the unit to control either two or four fixed RFID readers depending on your requirements. Overall, the front and rear panels are now engraved and branded for a better more high quality finish.
To order the improved System Tray, please use the following product codes:
EPC002-24-01 = Mk5 version for 4 readers and 2 traffic lights
EPC002-24-02 = Mk5 version for 2 readers and 2 traffic lights
